Daniel's cave

Siah scoffed at the Vampire. He walked past the group to the entrance of the cave and he picked up the faerie and held her in his hand. He placed one hand over her completely covering her.

He turned to the female Vampire and shook his head in amusement. "I'm not here to take anything... yet. So keep your fangs behind your lips."

A dark energy moved about his hands and swirled around the small faerie's form.

Destiny hadn't realized she was baring her fangs until he said something, When the demon picked her she watched with cautious eyes.

mika moved silently away as he move closer her growl now more like a wolfs as he drew closer to her , she backed into the shadows only the drops of blood on the ground telling any one she had been there but as she backed off she hit her arm where the graze lay, against a rock and cried out grabbing it she held it wincing as she sat in the semi darkness.

Siah felt the faerie grow stronger and the power swell within her little form. The dark energy subsided. Siah opened his hands and the strength was immense within the faerie. He turned to the Ookami and searched her face, he saw only fear and anger.

"Kindred," He said adressing both the vampires now. "are you in allegience with any Nests or Houses? Do you serve any vampire lords?"

mika looked into his eyes she saw something and tipped her head in curiosity moving into the light she watched him hold the fairy in his hands , she could not say the words to witch she wanted but she just sat looking at him fascinated my him not fearing.

Siah handed the faerie to the female Vampire. He moved to the fire and ate some of the boar. He sat down and lay his sword in its sheath in the ground next to him.

"Your's is a rare breed Ookami. A very rare breed indeed." He didn't look at the Ookami, but stared at the flames before him.

mika moved around the fire sitting facing him she heard him speak and lowered her head to him "no more" she said softly her eyes still fixed on him and the boar he ate, her arm throbbing as she sat her cloths dirty and torn from her running.

Siah nodded. The lore was true, the Ookami had been hunted for so many years he had heard tales of their extinction but he never much cared for stories. The faerie had not woken as yet and he could see the Ookami was in pain.

Siah held out his hand, palm up, to the fire. A small flame appeared hovering above his palm.
"I can't believe I'm about to do this." He thought.

Looking at the Ookami he spoke slowly."Ookami, I cannot heal. I can only destroy, but your wound can be seared shut with flame. It will scar and it will hurt for a while." Siah sat still eating the boar meat.

Mika looked at him and the flame he held she under stood moving only slightly closer she held out her arm the wound dripping onto the stones that surrounded the fire sizzling in the heat , her heart pounded as she waited knowing it would hurt but her eyes stayed fixed on his , dark behind his helmet as dark as her own that now glinted in the fire light at him.

Siah grabbed her with incredible speed. He pinned her to the ground with his full weight and placed his forefinger in the wound. He held firm and flames ran along his hand, down his finger and seared the wound shut.

He could only imagine the pain this poor creature must be feeling. A welt formed over the wound and the bleeding stopped. He let go of the Ookami and the flames disappeared.

Siah resumed eating.

Mika yelped as he grabbed her the pain coursing threw her but she did not cry out as she felt it sear her skin and seal the wound closed , then she felt him let her go for a moment she lay breathing hard as she followed him back to the boar sitting up she felt weak she tucked her arm to her body holding it there as a wolf would a damaged paw , her head spinning slightly as she sat to sit facing him again she still watched him as he had threatened destiny but know she felt not fear but respect.

Siah wrote:

He smiled at the faerie. "Nice try. I will rend you if you attempt such an action again!"

Siah pointed to the faerie. "She is Fey - The Elves saw the Kindred bring me here, they will come for us! Seal the entrance of the cave with brambles and whatever magicks you know, little faerie."

He turned to the male Vampire. "Do you have an allegience? A lord or leige whom you serve?"

Daniel watched him heal the poor creature quietly, his eyes darting to both of them. He remembere that the demon had asked him a question. "No, sir. I serve no one. I am in search to serve someone worthy" he told her demon, sitting down beside him and took a piece of boar leg and ate it.

"Time to leave." Siah thought, he knew that life would be difficult to sustain once the Elves found their way into the cave. It was him they were hunting anyway and he suspected the vampires knew this.

Elves were great warriors and magicians, but they were blind to anything they did not fully understand. Siah would bring thier kingdom to its knees. He would tear this entire forest up and leave a waisteland in its place.

He rose to his feet and looked at the opening in the cave roof, where the smoke from the fire escaped.

He looked at the male vampire out of the corner of his eye. "Good Kindred. Keep your oath to yourself. Stay away from the war-mongering Kindred of the Northern and Western kingdoms."

mika moved to in front of him blocking the way out "not go yet" she said she sniffed "still out" she stood to her full hight her ears picking up the sounds of elven voices just out side the cave even with her arm paining her she felt she had to protect.
standing there she glanced at the man behind her arm pained her and she sat back down her head turned a the pain grew.

Siah bowed his head and closed his eyes. His armour and weapon glowed. He stood erect, at his full height. He could sense the Elven warriors searching about outside of the cave. But he would not give them the means to end him. He would strike first!

He palced a hand on the Ookami's shoulder to calm her. "A hunting party, they expect me and wish me dead. There are a few of them, maybe three or four. They do not know me... they do not know what I am... a fatal error."

Siah looked around the cave for a rope.

Daniel reached for his bow and arrow then turned to Siah. "How many Elven warriors are out there" he asked, getting and arrow out, putting his sword into his sword pocket and shot one of them who just came in.

mika looked at him she didn't know what he meant for she thought all creatures were made for a reason to survive and grow, she knew she was the last of her kind she knew on her death the Ookami would be no more, she felt his hand on her shoulder her hand moving to rest on his , she let a rare smile sip to her lips turning she closed her eyes a growl growing from inside her , soon she let out a wolf cry so loud it almost shook the walls , from out side the elves yelled and cried out shouting word mika could not understand as she heard them run

The entrance of the cave was still blocked by magick used by the faerie. The unlucky Elf had found his way in through the hole in the ceiling, where the smoke escaped.

Siah looked at the male vampire. "I need a rope, Kindred. A strong rope to hold my weight, when I leave death will follow me."

Siah smiled at the bravado shown by the Ookami. He hoped she would prove braver still... she would have to.

Daniel shot another arrow at the elf, then grabbed another one from his bag stabbing another one in the stomach then sliced their head off. He muttered a incantation and the tip of his arrow had flame on them, he put another one then turned his bow on it side getting two at the same time. He looked at the demon then went over to his locket and pulled out a rope then tossed it at him. Daniel got his sword out and charged at the elf blocking his move and punched him in the face slicing their head open

Mika looked at the hole she had something that would do the trick it would not hold his weight but she could climb it and fetch a rope, Mika tied her dress tight around her as she unwrapped the rope she used to hold it around her taking a piece of metal that she saw laying on the floor she tied it to it, and pointed to the hole , with a threw she winced letting it clatter to the ground as she held her arm, she looked the man pain now in her eyes she then looked up "mika climb , get rope" she said "help"

Siah grabbed the Ookami. He ignored the pain he could see apparent on her face. She needed to be strong and he could see she was. He moved to the centre of the room and threw her up through the hole in the ceiling.

Mika felt him grab her and throw her up threw the hole, she rolled as she landed laying for a second she hunted for a thick vine witch she found quickly she tor it down and tied it around the closes t tree dropping it to the cave floor "climb" she said an elf jumped on her back she twisted throwing it against a tree where it lay helpless and lifeless she growled at any that came too close to the hole as she waited .

Daniel grabbed Destiny and a wooden club and held it in front of the elves surrounding him, he threw it to the ground and quickly grabbed the rope, climbing as the elves stood there burning alive pulling her with him. "Go go go!" he shouted at the ookami, taking her hands and dragged her along.

Siah climbed the rope with an unholy speed. His bulk seemed weightless as he exited the hole. His glowing blade and shimmering armour was a fearsome sight to behold.

Without a word or care he engaged the Elves. He slew them within moments not even so much as breathing hard. He loked about him and saw that there were too many places from which the next attack could come.

He channeled immense energy and released a massive ball of flame into the trees. They burned...

He looked at the Ookami. "I need to leave. You are a brave one, Ookami."

He ran off into the fire shooting flames from his hands into any brush he could.
