Nature's Tavern

Destiny had been looking for a place to get a drink, she found a little tavern as she came upon some woods. As she pushed the door open the wind blew slightly through her long blond hair. Looking around she noticed only the bar tender. She sat at the bar and ordered water. She needed something more but wasn't sure what at the moment.

Destiny looked up at the lady and muttered her thanks as she sat the water down. Her sky blue eyes had a sparkle to them that said she knew what you were thinking. She looked at the glass of water and and smiled, "Nope. Not at all." she lied.

Keena knew that the woman was lying, it was one of her talents to pick up the truth from lies. However she wisely knew when to keep such things to herself.

"Very well, but let me know when you are ready for a real drink. We carry find Dwarven ale and Elf wines."

Mika moved in quietly and unseen she sat under a table watching her tail low and her ear pricked up listening to everyone in the room

Destiny sighed, she saw some one come in, she hoped the bartender would leave her alone. She didn't want to talk about her problems.

moving mika snuck a little closer to the bar hoping to catch a fallen piece of food as she did or s pool of spilt drink to quench her thirst.

Destiny noticed the other person looking around, she got up and walked over to her, "Would you like my water? I'm not going to drink it."

Mika backed off slightly as she sniffed the water caushously she reached out her hand as if asking for the water

Keena watched with interest before going back into the kitchen and filling a plate with a generous heaping of roast beef. She brought it back out to the girl and set it down. "Here child, it is on the house."

Destiny handed her the water, "It's not of my craving."

Mika took the water ans sat on the floor to drink it her tail raised behind her , when another woman brought out some meat, again mika sniffed at it sensing nothing was wrong she took a pieces tarring at it hungrily

"Must be hungry." she muttered.

Mika looked at the woman who spoke nodding as she did "Mika " she said quickly looking up at her

Destiny nodded, "Nice to meet you Mika, I am Lady Ta'Malix."

"Aw, Hello Mika, I am Keena and this is my tavern. When you are done you can have more." Keena said with a smile.

It was obvious this girl had not been around people very much and Keena remembered how hard it was to adjust at first. She herself had onced lived among the animals and wild lands of Haven with no contact with people. When she was finally captured and brought to face humanity, she had felt lost and panicked often showing only in the form of her violent ways. That is until the day the traveling show she was being held prisoner in was hired to preform for a man of high ranking, Lord Zain Zalon. He freed her and took her into his care and from there it was only natrual for them to fall in love through their many adventures and trials.

Destiny had pulled out a stool and sat down, she watched the girl eat. She wondered if she would end up the same way. She had ran away from home and had no where to go. She would need to be finding a place to stay very soon. she knew her men would be looking for her, she didn't want to go back, she couldn't go back.

Seeing the look on Destiny's face Keena had an idea of what it was. "You know this is an inn too, if you like you may stay and I will not interfere in your life, all I ask is for a little help around here. Deal?"

Destiny looked up at Keena, "I don't want to interfere. " She sighed, "If I stay you will have soldiers coming in. I can not let them bombard your tavern."

Keena burst out laughing. "I can assure you soldiers are the least of my worries, and besides this is a sanctuary for those who need it. You would not be the first stranger I have brought in and offered help to."

mika looked at the two women as she ate her eyes watching learning, once the plate was empty Mika held it up to the white haired woman as if asking for more she placed the plate down on the floor returning to sip the water she had been given then from no where she yawned

Keena saw the yawn and smiled. "Why don't I show you to a room and then bring you up some food."

She turned her attention back to Destiny. "If you are willing you my follow so I can show you to your room as well. And if you are still worried don't be, I am a Guardian, a celestial type if you will and my husband is the Lord of Haven, there is nothing we cannot handle."

mika moved back her eyes feeling heavy as she sat her head dropping from the warmth and full belly she now had, once or twice her head dropped as she looked at the two women. She trusted nobody , the last time she had they had hurt her now she was causiouse but the sleep now took her over

Keena saw the yawn and smiled softly, she gave a soft whistle and a giant timber wolf came into the room. He looked at his mistress with ice blue eyes and gave a soft wag of his tail.

"Silver Wind, please help Mika up so we may get her to a room."

The wolf looked over to the young woman and sniffed before turning his eyes back to Keena. She smells of wolf. He said using his magic to bind with the minds of the three women so they could hear him.

"Yes, Silver Wind I am aware of that. Now, shall we?"

The wolf, standing at five feet at the shoulder nodded his head before going to the tired girl. He leaned against her so she might grab his fur to get to her feet. It was the fact she smelt of wolf that Keena had brought him in. She figured it would be a comfort to the girl.
