I will never understand it,
these feelings that I have for you.
you will always see right through me,
no matter what I say or do.
Why did you have to be the one,
the one that I have fallen for?
All it does is bring me hurt,
and makes me bleed down to my very core.
I hang my head in shame,
it will never matter how much I care.
Because you will never give it back,
life has never seemed so unfair.
But I can't stop loving you,
and at least I can call you friend.
I may still hope and dream,
even if I know it will never be in the end. | |
